大守宮是東南亞地區最具代表性的夜行性壁虎，以藍灰底與橘紅斑點聞名。牠行動迅速，能輕易攀附於牆面或枝幹上，並發出獨特的「Tokay！Tokay！」叫聲，因此被稱為「Tokay Gecko」。在夜晚，牠們以敏銳的視覺與強力的趾黏附力進行狩獵，是叢林與城市牆面之間的靜默獵者。
