綠樹蟒（Green Tree Python） 是世界上最具代表性的樹棲蟒蛇之一，以優雅的盤繞姿態、鮮豔的體色，以及著名的成長性體色轉變（Ontogenetic Colour Change, OCC）聞名。Mi Casita Reptile 這隻公蛇屬於 藍黑派阿魯島 綠樹蟒公蛇（Blue Black Aru Green Tree Python），幼體及亞成階段仍以鮮綠、青綠為主，隨著成長與多次蛻皮，體表逐漸出現更多水藍色、深藍色及藍黑色區塊。不同個體的藍色表現、擴散速度與成熟後的體色皆可能有所差異，因此每一條綠樹蟒都擁有獨特且無法複製的生命樣貌。
目前研究已證實綠樹蟒具有成長性體色轉變（Ontogenetic Colour Change），而藍黑派個體較高比例的藍色表現，多被認為與血統、個體基因組合、多基因（Polygenic）表現、長期選育（Selective Breeding）及成長過程共同影響。Mi Casita Reptile 持續透過完整的影像紀錄與照養紀錄，保存每一條綠樹蟒不同階段的生命歷程，讓每一次蛻皮、每一次轉色都成為珍貴的觀察紀錄。

原生於新喀里多尼亞群島，眼上方的「睫毛」延伸至背部是其標誌特徵。
